Mycorrhizae utilization in palm oil nurseries to reduce inorganic fertilizer dose

Abstract Fertilization in palm oil nurseries is an invaluable tending activity to obtain healthy and robust seedlings. This research aims identify the dose percentage level of inorganic fertilizer which can be reduced by applying mycorrhizae nurseries. The design used a non-factorial completely randomized design, as treatment factor was There are 5 levels treatment, namely P0 (100% standard + 50 g mycorrhizae), P1 (75% P2 (50% P3 (25% P4 (0 Mycorrhizae). Each arranged four replications. data were analyzed using ANOVA, if F-count > F-table then it continued with Duncan Multiple Range Test. observation variables included plant height, number leaves stem diameter, root length, canopy dry weight, roots P uptake. results showed that there significant differences leaves, weight uptake well as, while observations length no difference. application grams 50-75% fertilization resulted optimal seedling growth. Mycorrhizae utilization reduce fertilizers up 25-50%.
